Caregivers & Families

You Know Your Child Best

Caregivers and families play a critical role in helping children overcome the effects of childhood trauma. They are often the first to recognize signs of distress and provide support for children who have been impacted by trauma. By creating a safe, trauma-sensitive and supportive environment, caregivers and families can help children build resilience and develop healthy coping mechanisms to buffer the negative effects of trauma.
